Roller Coaster Insider Tour at Busch

I'll be posting a full report later, but I wanted to toss out a plug for the new Roller Coaster Insider tour at Busch Gardens. It's a 45 minute tour that takes you behind the scenes at Montu. You go into the workshop area, but best of all you get to climb the break run and stand right on the stairs just under the platform while the coaster goes right over your head. It is a great tour for coaster fanatics!

Sounds like something that'll interest me,especially since Montu is the ride that got me hooked on coasters.First time I rode that ride back in 96/97 I was like a different person when I got off.

If you love Montu, you will love this tour. You get to see a "skeleton" train (they have one taken apart at all times so they can swap parts around), you see all the parts in the shop and you even get to pop the locks on a train with the little tool they can use in case of an evac. It was utterly fascinating. The best part was climbing up to the brake run though. Dang, that thing shakes when that train comes through!
