I HATE roller coasters but loved RnR!
Seriously, I am the biggest coward when it comes to rides as I hate heights, speed...just about everything! I flatly refuse Tower of Terror and Mission Space--the only way they got me on Splash Mountain is because my smaller children wanted to go so I went with them and had a "death grip" on them(they laughed through the entire thing--I screamed my head off!)
I have been on one big old wooden coaster and it scared the absolute life out of me and I have been on Space Mountain and I think because it is inside and in the dark...it' s not so scary. Same with RnR...it's inside and in the dark so you can't see what's coming next!
I'm such a huge Aerosmith fan that as soon as I heard about this ride I was determined to get over my fear just for the ride...so glad I did! I was terrified going in but once the music started it was fantastic! It was really cool--even going upside down!
Go ride...have fun...you'll be glad you did!
