Roll Call...who made it to the mazes today?

My son is also 10. He is waiting to get in a room and is watching TV while waiting. Poor guy. I hope he at least makes it through one maze!!

I am going to try and make it through all the mazes, but when DH gets home from work I need to get off. He leaves this week to go to field training for 28 days. Want to spend some time with him.

I also agree. On my second attempt at the easy maze I got to the front of the line only to loose my connection. It is so frustrating for adults never mind the poor kids who love this game and really want to win a prize. I'm now going to attempt the hard maze but I'm behind 162 others. I bet that I loose connection again, if I do that's it for today. I'll go and cook my future hubby's dinner instead lol

I am really ready to cry.

I finally made into the med start room, went to move into line and accidently clicked exit.

What is really making me mad is the people on vmkforums that are trading the maze prizes, and saying they have extras. It's not fair to use mules in this event.

For all that are wondering if disconnect happens in all mazes... it does. I have waited behind 200+ people in each maze entrance and have lost connection after I started the maze.

Is it too far fetched to think thta VMK is limiting the amount of time people are allowed to spend in the mazes? We are only allowed and hour or so? I just cannot explain why I keep losing connection...

I have just sent the following message to vmk:

I tried doing the Middle Maze twice yesterday and was disconnected both times before I could complete the maze, after waiting in lines of 500 or more people to get in. (I did manage to complete the Easy Maze.) Then I was no longer able to even get in line. Today, I have tried the Middle Maze twice and the Difficult Maze once and have been disconnected all three times after making it into the mazes rooms. I am currently in line for the Difficult Maze again. I am not very hopeful that I will make it through. This is the first time I have spent a lot of time trying to participate in an event, and I am very disappointed. I have spent much of my weekend trying to complete these mazes without success. I have never sent in one of these messages to VMK before, but I know I am not the only one out there feeling this way, and it has been a very frustrating weekend for many people. I don't know if there is anything that can be done about this, but I wanted to at least share my thoughts. Thank you.

I didn't draw a distinction between children and adults in my message since my birthday is messed up in vmk. (I accidentally put in 2005 when I registered my character, I guess. Oops!)

let me count how many times i got in line...
1. 60 people- third room crashed
2. 160 people - second room crashed
3. 200 people - crashed when i was first in queue
4. 200+ people- Crashed in the entrance room

Does anyone know who ownes the first room in the medium maze? I want to help because i dont like waiting...
so far i have done this while waiting:

Played halo 2
Played Airlock Escape
Threw Darts
Slept for an hour watching 200 go down to 60...like watching paint dry
Ate a crisaunt (sp)
Drank a coke
And i think thats about it

I'm starting to think redbaybound might be on to something. After once again getting into the Difficult maze, I crashed in the 2nd room. This is the fifth time that I have not made it very far after surviving the line. Could it be that there is a time limit of sorts? None of these crashes are Teleporter related. I am usually walking between things when the dreaded lost connection box appears.

I am so FURIOUS with VMK. I have a child in TEARS!! He waited over an hour to get into the difficult maze room. He was 2nd in line for the teleporters. He was dancing and singing "I'm, getting a cauldron, I'm getting a cauldron." Then crash. Then tears, and tears. This is so sad!! I'm ready to cry for him.

I'm right there with you. My 8 yo DS was in tears yesterday too after crashing in a maze after waiting for so long to get in. It's really not fair to these young kids. They do not understand what is happening.

I know I regularly lose connection after about an hour on VMK ALL THE TIME, not just this weekend. I'm wondering if there are others? I always thought that this was "programmed" into VMK to boot you after an hour of playing, but maybe this just happens to me???

Well so far peple have confirmed that the prizes for medium and hard are the pin for medium and the candy couldron for hard ( i got my couldron )

Atleast you're able to get into VMK. I can't even get in without it totally freezing up my computer and crashing both IE and Firefox This is very distressing. I would have hoped they'd learned from past experiences and organized this better.

I had to end up removing Kris from the computer. He was getting way to upset and frustrated at the maze. I am still going to try and complete them and share the prizes with him, but I don't want him to keep trying. It is getting to upsetting for him.

After the last crash, he walked over and was mean to his little brother in his anger. I knew then that it was too much. Instead of crying, he is getting angry.

Ok, I posted this on another post, so sorry for the duplicate, but here's the outcome:

I sent a message to VMK

They responded and said to see their response I had to log into our disney account.

In the process of trying to find it, I deleted his ability to go online in any disney account.

We tried to get into vmk with his characters and all but one worked. So he traded all his stuff to me in case all his characters get deleted.

When he went to trade to me, guess what was in his furnishings? Yes, a candy cauldron!!

So far I have managed to enter the easy maze twice only to be disconnected as soon as I teleported into the first room. I have been disconnected twice while waiting in line. I'm very disappointed but I refuse to end up in tears again tonight!

I hope they extend the event a couple of days to allow the rest of us to have a chance to do the mazes.

Its good to see that I'm not the only one. Its sad, it takes me about 40-45 minutes to get to the maze start room, and 2-3 minutes to enter the teleporter. That leaves 12-13 minutes to go through the mazes, if I don't lose connection. Well, it looks like I'll be seeing this screen in my sleep (top left is main account, bottom right is mule)...

I like so many others didn't make through the maze. I would crash will in line or right as I would start maze. My screen looked like McBain's also.

Hi Everyone,

I thought I would fill you in on my maze quest today!

Yesterday I made it through the medium level and almost the hard (got stuck between rooms - very strange)

Anyway I wanted to start on the hard level today...

First Try: Started with about 120 to go. disconnected at 43 to go.
Second Try: 219 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed at third room.
Third Try: 212 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed at fourth room.
Fourth Try: 217 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed at fourth room.
Fifth Try: 213 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed at third room.
Sixth Try: 203 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed at third room.

Then I decided to try the Easy level to see if I could win something...

First Try: 229 to go. Made it all the way through but there was a wait at the end room. Moved 1 place in line and then crashed.
Second Try: 223 to go. Made it through, but again a wait at the end room. Moved 2 places in line and then crashed.
Third Try: 197 to go. Thought I was disconnected so hit cancel (wasn't)
Fourth Try: 207 to go. Made it through the maze. Line at the end room, but I got recorded this time!

So then I thought I would try hard level again...

Seventh Try: 174 to go. Lost connection almost immediately in line.
Eighth Try: 174 to go. Made it to the first room, but the teleporter was turned around. Lost connection shortly thereafter
Ninth Try: 188 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed in second room.
Tenth Try: 183 to go. Made it into the maze but crashed in fifth room.
Eleventh Try: 166 to go. Had 13 people in front of me when it was confirmed that the mazes were closed, so I disconnected.

That's my story for today! I was in the start room once though and said thank you to CL_Poseiden for running the room all day. VMK_Babs heard me and gave me a Leota pin for being nice! That was very nice of her because I would rather have the Leota pin than the candy cauldron anyway. I just really wanted to make it through the maze.
