I was busy all day and Dick had the computer all day....did some more decorating and had to go get my drivers license.

Everyone ready for Thanksgiving....I have to go to the store today..nothing like waiting to the last minute.

Where is everyone??????

Kaleigh had her shots. She is up to 12 lbs 6 oz. She was up and fussy all morning. I hate shots!!!! We did get the bouncy seat. My parents frined dropped it off yesterday. She is sleeping there right now.

Speaking of shots, I got one yesterday too, of cortisone. My asthma just hasn't calmed down since I had bronchitis. I can't stop coughing. Since Kaleigh sees our doctor, I horned in on her appointment (something I never do). But he understood how crazy it has been over here. I am not coughing as much today.

We got about 3-1/2 inches of snow. Ick, yuck!!!!

Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I haven't been on the Boards for a few days. I worked yesterday and have to work Thanksgiving so I will be eating "Hospital Turkey". YUK!

Diana: I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. Cancer research is making amazing progress so who knows! I will keep your family & him in my thoughts & prayers.

Bonnie doesn't believe I am as computer illiterate as I am but I tried to install the AOL thing & my daughter has it installed & it was all screwed up so I gave up! Dodger can't help because he can only dig holes & break into the Christmas decor. I am sure he will be pooping tinsel!

Garry: You need a show of your own! Loved the story. The sad thing is it's TRUE!

Hi everyone! Sorry I wasn't on the board last night, I actually went to bed before 1:30am. I left my post and I won't do it again.

A little bit of news, my friend is going on the Dec. 7th Magic and called DCL to ask about this "virus" that they had and she was told that 86 people on THIS week's cruise has it! After all the disinfecting, they still have it! She was told that no decision has been made for the Dec 7th cruise. She was told that they flew in a crew to clean and disinfect the water and ice systems. NOW I have heard that Carnival had a ship with the same problem. VERY INTERESTING!!!!!!!!

Oh by the way.........I got to chat with Darren today!!!!!!!! We talked about Christmas and the kids and work among other things. It was great talking to him!

THEY HAVE JUST CANCELLED THE 11/30 CRUISE!!!!!!!!!! They are offering a full refund and 50% off a future cruise. They did say that the Dec. 7th cruise will sail!

haven't been posting for a while but I have been reading.

That is terrible about the 11/30 cruise. What a disappointment.
I hope they are able to take care of the problem. Wonder what is going on. Kind of scarey.

Hey Garry I have a story for you. You may not know but I handle escalated calls for a insurance company. Yesterday there was a call transfered to me from one of our customer service reps. There was this crazy woman on the line. The first she said to me was to "Cut the crap I already know you have all my files and you know I am a pedifile" as she went on she started screaming at me and said "I demand you say you are an idiot!"( So bad I wanted to tell her "Ok you're an idiot") but I held my tongue. she told me I was jealous of her name and that she was sueing the entire world because she is perfect. I deal with all kinds of people and they never cease to amaze me.

I really feel bad about those who were looking forward to cruising next week. Especially the kids!!! Just think, last month it could have been us!!!!

Now, what we have to be thankful for is that after months of us cyberchatting, we got to actually meet on the ship!!! And continue those friendships into the future.......

Aside from all of this I am sure that we have lots of other things to be thankful for. I especially think of Denine and Jerry, with that new little bundle!!

That would be devastating news to find out that your trip was cancelled. We all know how much we looked forward to ours. It IS interesting that another ship is getting sick as well. Hummmm???

Hospital turkey? Just like you said, Jeanne, yuk! Hopefully you can get your AIM up and working soon.

Julie, the wine is Saracco Moscato D'Asti. It is a product of Italy and imported by Vin Divino of Chicago. They are the sole US importer of it. You might be able to find it in the dessert wine section. I know not all of our stores carry it so let your fingers do the walking and call around.

We are leaving for the cabin early tomorrow morning so I probably won't post until we get back.

I would have just died if they had cancelled our cruise. I feel so bad for all of those affected. We can count our blessings that we didn't have any problems with our cruise.

Well, I didn't chat with Darren. That's about it for the news.
I spent all morning getting the school ready for a Scholastic book fair next Monday thru Friday. Ben went up snowboarding, the Bum. Next, the kids and I go to my Grandfather's retirement home for Thanksgiving dinner. (we just don't tell them that it's actually the day before ) I think this one will beat out hospital turkey. Ours has the nice aroma of wet depends along with it LOL. Have a GREAT Thanksgiving everyone. We really are a blessed group with so much to be thankful for.

I still think people are picking up the virus in WDW and bringing it on board the ship. Why all the cruise lines that leave out of Port C? If they truely disinfected everything it should have worked. Viruses don't survive long outside the host... Just my brain working overtime...

It's so upsetting to see the Disney Magic being taken out of service, but it is also good to see Disney taking the problem so seriously and is trying to ensure no more guest vacations are spoiled by this. My hearts do of course go out to all those families who have had their vacations cancelled, hopefully they'll all be able to go to WDW or maybe do a cruise on the Wonder. Did you hear that they've bumbed all the Cast Members reservations for the 12/1 Wonder to make room for any Magic guests that want to sail.

I will be here tomorrow evening also. As suspected the shopping trip on Friday has been cancelled. I guess the people (besides my mom and I ) that were going with my DIL cancelled therefore we got cancelled.

That's hilarious. Reminds me of the old woman that use to call our station on a nightly basis sometimes to complain about the "Reverend Hansell" who was outside his apartment with his "gang" and his "ray gun". One time when we went to her apartment, we put tin foil on her TV antenna and convinced her that it would deflect the Reverend's ray gun. We weren't called back for awhile after that.

And yes, being able to bite your tongue is a necessity in my job as well!

Garry-You ever have anyone call because a squirrel was starring at them through the window?? My friend's mother did that once. She lived in a second floor apt. and a squirrel was on her screen looking in at her.
