I emailed all with the list of AIM names. Jeanne will get on not to worry.

Diana-where are you???????

Laurie-lurking again?

Just checking in. It was a good weekend. Ohio State beat Michigan and is playing in the National Championship game, then the Browns won on Sunday!

Julie is digging out Christmas decorations as we speak. I just finished doing my time on the treadmill in an attempt to get back into some kind of shape. My knee isn't too crazy about it though.

Well, talk to everyone later....

Hi everyone! Garry and I are on AIM so look for us. I think Bonnie sent everyone my user name and Garry's is the same as is he is here without the space in between.

After I clean the house tomorrow, I will begin the decorating festivities! I should be very interesting with the two little ones this year.

Well, I'll check back in later!

Good morning all!

Only 3 days of work this week. YEA!

Quiet weekend on the boards except all the IM's. LOL! It was great saying good night to Turner and with Julie, Makenzie and The BIg Guy!

Laurie- I know you were lurking last night! I got your IM name.

Jeanne- You can do it!!! Just follow directions without fear.

Diana-where are you?

CO- I want some of your snow! How'd the picture taking go Sandy?

Have a good day all.

Good Morning. Happy Thanksgiving week!!

You all keep talking about decorations and I may even have to start pulling my boxes out. I usually don't get going until into December, but who knows, maybe this year I'll get it going early!

Everyone have a great day. Gotta get ready for work (yuck).

Off today, work tomorrow, off Wednesday, work Thanksgiving. What a mixed up week!

Today I am going to start to wrap some presents so I don't have as much to do when I get home from WDW. I still have shopping to do but NO MONEY!

Hope you all have a great day! We may even get some snow this week in N.J. Toodles:wave: :earsgirl: Jeanne

Good Morning

We did get some snow last night but you can still see grass so it wasn't much. The Broncos lost...about the time I think they have a good team they fall apart...Oh well, there is always next week and the weather was terrible, but it was for the Colts too.

I worked on putting decorations up, finished 3 albums for my granddaughers on our Alaska cruise and even worked on a page of my own. Then pizza, the game and bed.

Someone IM me but I didn't see it until late last night. I don't know who it was as I didn't have the list then. Sorry, I leave my IM on all the time....I wasn't trying to ignore you. Try again and hopefully I will see it next time.

Have a great day!

Hello all! We have had a busy, but good weekend. We did a day trip on Saturday, the first time we were out past a feeding and also needing a diaper change. We also ate out! It was a good day.
Sunday, we had a mini shower. Jerry's parents brought over the presents that people had been giving them to give to us. We got a mobile for Kaleigh's crib, and she loves it.
I bought my ornament for the exchange.

I don't think we will be cruising next year. We should be a go for 2004 though!

Now I have to read through the rest of the posts.

I have now read all the posts, whew!
Bonnie: Sorry your night out didn't go as planned.

We are having brunch at my parents and then dinner at Jerry's on Thanksgiving. Jerry's parents are close to Garry & Julie's house, so Bonnie, you can stop there for some shower cake. I am making a pecan pie for my dad (his favorite) and something for brunch. I was going to make a buttermilk pie to take to dinner, but Jerry's mom is taking the shower cake out of the freezer, so we will have that.

We need to get outside and put up our Mickey wreaths. We didn't have a chance this weekend. Maybe next weekend. Then comes the Christmas tree the begining of December.

I need to add all of you to my address book and then I can send you all the next picture of Kaleigh. A friend of ours took that picture with his digital camera and e-mailed it to me. Kaleigh is doing so much better on her new formula. It was so hard to find yesterday though. We went to 3 stores! Tomorrow, she goes for her first set of shots. Yuck!

Take care, and Darren, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Good morning everyone. More snow here in Denver. Have the sun now but this afternoon it is suppose to snow more. No snow in the Springs, huh? Glad we did get some because it helped set the scene for our Christmas cards. They turned out pretty good. I like the pics to be more of the family than the background and Ted is the opposite. He knows how to run the camera so he got his way.

Denine, it sounds like you have settled into Mommyhood real well. Venturing out like that for the first time is always kind of hard. Make a pecan pie for me, please. It is my favorite. I never make it because it so horrible for a diet.

Jeanne, did you get your AIM up? Would love to talk to you soon so hurry. Ask that son of yours to help!! Dodger dog any good at computers?

Haven't decorated yet. I am a firm believer that Christmas start in December. We don't turn on our outside lights until Dec. Usually have them up before Thanksgiving just in case of snow on the roof though.

How is your house airing out, Julie? Getting any better?

Stay warm everyone. Adios

I didn't check in for a couple of days and ya'll wrote 13 pages! I didn't want to post until I was caught up on everything and I finally made it!

I didn't forget Barb's birthday but now I feel bad that I didn't send her wishes via the DIS Board like everyone else. At least Barb knows I remembered her don't you Barb?

Julie, thanks for the phone call even though I missed you...it would have been fun to talk to you with our voices :D

Denine and Jerry, Kaleigh is an absolute doll.

I guess since everyone is fighting over where Bonnie goes, I should tell you that I'm sure she'd rather come to New Mexico.....after all, we have the possibility of snow Wed & Thur! Yahoo! Cover up that brown stuff!

I haven't gone back to read anything but thought I'd post anyway. My Dad (the one that went on the cruise with us) was diagnosed with liver cancer Friday. He had colon cancer 2 1/2 years ago and it has metastisized (?) He had a bone scan Fri. night and it was ok. Tomorrow he is having a petscan? Wed. he is meeting with the surgeon in case it goes that route.

Sorry if my words are wrong -- he may be a Dr. but I am NOT -- I'm a medical idiot.

We will now be going to Georgia for Christmas of course.

Will post later.

Sorry if I haven't said anything to anyone about what you've posted but I really haven't been checking or lurking.

Diana, sorry to hear about your father. I'll keep him in my prayers and wishes! That goes for the rest of your family too! You, Greg and the children will be in my thoughts and prayers! Keep us posted on any news! Let us know if there is anything any of us can do!

Your dad seemed so healthy on the cruise. What a shock. My prayers are with you all. I hope things turn out ok. Keep us up to date please.

Patti alias Patty-Snow in New Mexico? Are you in the higher elevations of NM? For some reason I have a hard time picturing snow.

Denine& Jerry-happy to hear things are settling in with Kaleigh. Your getting into the fun times now! Soon the laughter and smiles (I'll bet she smiles already!) Such fun!

We have a "winter storm watch" for Wednesday. I may not be going anywhere on Thanksgiving if it comes to fuition.

I think I am getting what they had on last weeks cruise. Oh Oh! Only one sick day left too. We only get 5 per year and they go pretty quickly if you get bronchitis or something like that.

I will try to help Jeanne get onto AIM one evening when she is available.

Yes Bonnie, it does snow in New Mexico and not just in the mountains (believe it or not we have those too). It just doesn't happen very often....we're lucky to get it once a year. We're not in the high elevations though, Hobbs is down in the southeast corner. We're so far east that Texas is only 4 miles away.......5 minutes after we leave the house, its an hour later!

Diana, we are so sorry to hear about your father. You and your family are definitely in our thoughts and prayers. Don't worry about responding to all of our posts. We certainly understand.

Yes Bonnie, get that Jeanne going. I'd love to talk to her!

As far as snow in NM--I was in Tucson, AZ one year when my father was in the hospital and it snowed right in town. It was really cool because my 2nd cousins had never seen snow. Their parents woke them up just to experience it.

OK guys, I am kind of new to AIM so bear with me on this. Right now it looks like Sandy is on, and I think I sent her a message, but it must not have worked.....Oh well, maybe next time. Or I will ask one of the kids at school. I am SURE that they know what to do. We got 4 inches of snow last night. Our first this season. John was at the Packer game in Tampa Bay so he got out of shoveling. But now he is home, and surprised at the white stuff. While he was out of town, I went to the Gateway store and bought another computer. Our current system is 4 yrs olds and quite a dinosaur by today's standards. (AKA: Slow as Heck!!)

Question to all of you who have AOL. I get a free year of AOL with the new computer. I like the current internet provider that I have and am reluctant to switch. Do you guys like AOL???? Pro's or Con's would be appreciated...... Hopefully UPS will deliver the new system on Saturday or Monday, and then I hope to be lurking less!!
:p

Denine -- One bit of advice to use when taking a little one for shots..........Mom should go out for ice cream after!!!! It always made ME feel better. Kristen was never really bothered by them but I HATE NEEDLES!!!! I NEEDED THE TREAT AFTERWARDS! ;)

Diana -- Sorry about your dad. We will certainly keep him in our prayers!!

-- Laurie

So sorry, Laurie. Ted got your IM but was busy with the scanner and didn't catch you right away. At least he made contact with you. I need your AIM name so that I can see when you are on. I promise I will talk to you next time.

We like AOL. Never had a problem. Only had one other provider and HATED them. Slow, never could get on, bumped, etc.

We finally have our formal pics scanned for anyone who might want one. I would love to have all of yours.

Hi Sandy! Our kitchen has finally cleared out of the smokey smell. Boy does that take awhile to get out of your house. Haven't been able to fine the wine yet. Maybe I hae the wrong name for it. Could you send me the correct spelling again? I'm clueless when it comes to remembering names and the correct spelling. (Oh Garry will have a field day with that comment).

Laurie, I got your AIM name so I will look for you. Mine is DisneyCruiseJ. So look for me.

I will aplogize now for not being on the board a lot these next few days. I'm TRYING to get this house ready for the holidays, but I will be checking everyday.

Bonnie, I hope you feel better! We don't want you sick for turkey day! You got a lot of traveling to do! And you can't be sick! Pixie Dust to you Bonnie!

Diana, please keep us updated with your father! We are thinking of you and your family!
