Roll Call for the Disney Magic Western Carrib. Jan 28/2006

Good morning everyone! Only five months now -- it's finally seems more real! I am really starting to get excited.

Hope everyone is having an enjoyable summer! We just got back from a week at the beach (Rehoboth Beach). Time to focus on our next trip -- the Magic cruise! :flower: Summer seems to have flown by, but it's nice to have a January trip to look forward too!!

Dobelover - It is just fellowship. Everyone know I love Disney and they wanted me to plan a cruise for our group.....we have ended up with 70 going. It should be fun.

We think we might have a service Sunday morning on Secret Deck 7....maybe even Mickey will come. What a great place to enjoy God's creation.

kmc33 - Did you love Rehoboth? We have a house in Bethany and we had dinner Saturday night at Nicola's in Rehoboth. Do you eat there?

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

counting down the days !!!!! Can't wait !!!!! :cloud9:

Add 2 more adults and 2 more children to our List and of course 1 more birthday !!!!

so right now we are at :

6 adults
3 children (boys, 3,5,15)

and Birthdays Galore !!!!! :cheer2:

sorry totally forgot, DS currently has a broken leg soooooooo no scuba diving for him this trip.. I won't be able to get him certified in time.. Broken right lower leg with 2 flexable rods inserted that will be removed in September (we hope) DR is not so sure of exact time frame.. DS (15) was on a :moped: Mini Harley Motorcycle and fell off and broke his leg in 2 places... :earseek: And to top it off he was in Colorado at his Grandparent's house at the time. We didn't see him until 3 days after surgery when he got home.. :faint:

Any of you Cruisers with teen boys... getting a meeting together? Would love all our boys to have friends for the week...Maybe even exchange emails prior to trip so they can make plans?????

We have been going to Rehoboth for about 7 years now. We didn't eat at Nicola's this time but we frequently do. Rehoboth has so many great restaurants! Not enough days to fit them all in!!

I must say though, I really like Bethany. We took a drive down there a couple years ago and I tried to talk DH into giving it a try, but he doesn't want to switch from Rehoboth. We do like the fact that we can park the car when we get there and pretty much walk everywhere.

DW and I have been booked on this cruise since May but I just spotted this thread. This will be our 8th cruise and our 6th on Disney. 156 more days! (But we are also on the 10/28 3-day Wonder in 64 days.) I saw that there are quite a few others from the DC Metro area. We live in Vienna, VA.

Welcome Newbies !!!! Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay !!!!

DS is mending well...thank you for the concerns and well wishes !!

We are all set for a 4 night stay in WDW for MNSSHP.. 15 people, 6 adults with 8 children.. Ages 4,5,8,9,11,11,11,15 and maybe an 8 month old infant.. We are staying at Pop.. We have plans for the Magical gatherings Fireworks cruise and Breakfast with Pooh at Crystal palace... :wizard:

so umm do you have any birthdays you can celebrate with us?? if not maybe we can lend you one because most of us have birthdays while on this trip.. DH & I are celebrating our Birthdays... he is jan. 28th and I am Feb.1st...

We got back last night from our 3 day Wonder for my birthday. We stayed in Cat 4 on Deck 8 and had a WONDERful cruise. The weather was perfect. Surprisingly, the trip seemed much longer than 3 days. We were first on the ship at 11:30 am (that is when they let us on) and we went right to Deck 9 and swam in Goofy pool with no other swimmers until 1pm. It was so awesome!! It started to rain at 2pm, so we gave up and went and took showers and our suitcases were there and we unpacked.

We ate at AP first and then PC and the Triton's...food was WONDERful!! When the ship went to Nassua, we stayed on board as we have been to Nassua one too many times...had the pool all to ourselves. Castaway Cay was perfect although a little windy. DS16 and I went Bottom Fishing (if anyone is even thinking of this excursion, it is WONDERful), we caught the coolest fish and I caught a SHARK!! It was about 3 feet. We also caught an eel...it was gross. We got back to island at noon, to find out the other members of our family had been cancelled from parasailing because of the high winds. We spent the rest of the afternoon snorkling in the cove and had a blast.

My kids start school tomorrow, Tuesday. I can not believe summer is over. It seems so short.

Oh well, it was just a taste for our next cruise....I have that to look forward to. If anyone has any questions, let me know!
