Roll Call 5/22/04 Western

[MO Disney cruiser]

This will be our 3rd DCL cruise. First 7 day. Can't wait. Talked DM and DF into going too. ME, DH, DD (13), DM, DF.

Thought I'd see who else was joining us. The ship seems to be filling up a bit.

Hi,

We will also be onboard. This will be our 3rd also, we have been on two Eastern's. This is our first Western, can't wait! It will be myself, DH, DD (7), and my brother and his family. My parents are wait listed to get a cat 11. We are keeping our fingers crossed something will come open for them and they will be able to join us.

Hopefully it will open up. It may be a possiblity. Our cruise has had several times where they've offered the cat11 GTY.

I will...This is our first Disney cruise...Myself DW and 4 year old DD..Hope to meet some people from the board.

Are you guys staying at the Radisson on Friday? Are either of you booked on a cat 11 GTY? This is the first time we have done this. We stayed in a cat. 11 both times we sailed before. I can't wait to find out what out what room we get.

We haven't decided where we're staying on Friday. Still trying to talk DM and DF to fly instead of drive. I've managed to get a free frequent flyer ticket from Southwest and after this years trip,I really don't want to drive again.

We're in a cat 11, but got in early enough that we have assigned cabins. We've never stayed in a cat 11 before. On our first cruise we had a cat 10 GTY. The cabin we got was just fine.


jdubbs, I'm sure your DD is going to love this cruise. I remember my DDs face when she first set foot on the ship for our first cruise. It was worth every $$ we spent and she was 10. I couldn't imagine a 4 year old reaction.

I'm Jdubbs wife, Tanya. I can't wait for this cruise. I have heard so many wonderful things... - I am sure my daughter will love it. She will be 4 in March. We originally tried to get on the May 8th sailing and it was booked... that's OK - I know we will have a great time with everyone. I forgot our category -- I know we are on a lower deck -- They already assigned us a cabin number. I think category 8 or 9. I would have loved a verrandah but we made due with our points.... even so - I know we will enjoy it. Can't wait to meet everyone...!

Hi,
We're cruising on the Magic too. This will be our 2nd cruise -- went last July on a 3 night (what a tease). Cruising with DH, DS 11, and DD who will have turned 5 on May 19th. We have to be in Venice, FL the night before for a H.S. graduation, so we'll be cutting it close with the drive over! But we are so looking forward to going again.

Our daughters will be in the same age group. My DD will turn 7 in Feb. She is so excited about going back on the Magic. We went to Disney World this past May and I think she enjoyed the cruises more. Looking forward to chatting with all of you while we count down.

Too bad my daughter won't be in the same group and yours. She is will be 4 in March. I guess she will be with 3 & 4 year olds.... she loves to stay with the older kids. I hope she will want to stay!.... Hope to meet all of you!

Hi Tanya!

My daughter loved the 3 and 4 age group. She even stayed down in that group when we went the second time and she was 5. We are so excited about this trip. Our whole immediate family is going now that we were able to get my parents a cabin, thanks to Sam's Club. I think my Mom is more excited than I am this time.

RAC, I know what you mean. We're really excited. We're taking my mom and dad too. Mom saw the Wonder last year and really wanted to go. I'm glad they're joining us. Our DD is their only grandchild so it will be nice for them to spend this time together.

Hey All!!!
We too will be joining you on the May 22 Cruise. My DH, My DS (13) and My DS (6). We can not wait. In 2001 we went on a 3 night on the Wonder. It was so awesome but not long enough!!!! We were all sad to leave the ship!
So here we are again. This time we have talked our best friends into joining us and they have a 14 year old daughter, 12 year old son, and a 5 year old daughter! They have never been on a cruise before. I just really can't wait.

We have a cat. 11 GTY as well. I hope to meet you all!

Camille - Hi - I was hoping to find another boy around my son's age & it looks like ours are vey close.. & we are from Jax as well. You didnt happen to book through All Seasons did you?

Gizzy, glad to finally see some others with kids my DDs age. I was begining to wonder. Since this is her first cruise outside of the Oceanears Lab, I was really hoping she would hook up with some kids her age and not be totally surrounded by the 16-17 year old group while in the teen activities.

Yes! I hope That our Friends Daughter makes a good friend as well. She will be the only girl that age in our group.
We are flying in from Iowa on Thursday and renting a car to a Cocoa beach hotel for Friday night.

I think we pretty much have all the arrangements mad. Now the COUNTDOWN!!!!!!!!!
