Woot! I can actually meet all these people on the Disboards?! Fantastic!

Noon on Saturday? I'll do my best to be there, DH in tow! If not, it means I was too much of a wuss in the rain and I'm stuck in some random covered area to avoid drowning outside... I'll have my LGMH too!

I'm imagining us on or near the drawbridge, unless it's raining, then we will all be huddled under the castle! LOL I'll be there with my 2 girls and DBF, unless they decide to go pin trade while I'm meeting...then it will just be me! LOL There's a photo of me on the Dis Board Diva Trip thread if anyone wants to see me before Saturday. Woo Hoo!!! Hope to see a big gang of people on Saturday!!!

Well, right now accuweather.com doesn't show rain in their little picture but just says "rain possible" so I'm planning on being there saturday. But I'm still keeping it hush, hush that i'm planning on meeting all you disers there. DH isn't too excited about meeting up with disers after an interesting encounter we had one time. That's all I'm going to say about that.

Can't wait to see you all there! It will be me, DH and our DS.

I'm there from Friday afternoon (11th) until Saturday afternoon (19th), but as I've got trips booked on both weekend days, as well as tuesday and wednesday, I won't be able to make the meet.

Having said that, I'll do my best to spot LGMH's while I'm there

Just FYI, I definitely plan to be there....but I LOST one of my LGMHs! I do still have a back-up in my suitcase that I'll be taking out for Thursday and beyond...but since my first one didn't make it two HOURS, I'm not loving the odds of survival for this one.

So if I lose my second one, all I have are scissors and paper.... So if you see a girl with a homemade Mickey Head made out of paper/a Disney entertainment program/etc. safety pinned to a bag, that is me. I'll probably be wearing my red and black striped fingerless gloves as well. (Alternately, if they have any lime green Mickey heads at the build-your-ears stations, I might just buy one and cut it up for an indestructable LGMH....)

(My travel buddy Miss D has one as well and hers is fine so far.)

We will not be able to make the mini-meet.

Well, I will keep a look out for those Lime Green Mickey Heads. Our family will be wearing them on our backpacks and on the stroller.

I had hoped to make Lime Green Mickey Head T-Shirts, but life got in the way. Silly car repairs, kids with finals, and not-for-profit volunteer work.

I'm not sure where my LGMH is either and don't have time to make any more (curse the lack of Home Depot in this country ), but I'm not that difficult to spot - 6'2", shoulder length+ hair (probably with some kind of Disneyfied item to tie it back) and nobody else with me

Looks like I am going to just miss the meet. We won't be arriving to the park until around 5pm on Saturday. I will be sure to be on the lookout for LGMHs. I need to remember to go to Home Depot tonight to get mine.

For the poster who asked, LGMH stands for Lime Green Mickey Head, they are paint swatch samples from Home Depot in the shape of a Mickey Head, they are Alien Green, we use those to ID ourselves to other Disers in the parks.

to make them over here, I have to resort to printing a mickey head, cutting it out, then drawing around it onto green card before finally cutting that out.

I did it last year as a luggage tag And normal one for me as well but haven't had time this year...

Okay, I'm not giving up hope yet but today accuweather says rain on Saturday! I might still be able to convince DH to go. DS probably won't like it though. I really want to go because now I'm all excited about our mini meet and i don't know when we'll be able to go again before Christmas between blockout dates and traveling to see family for Christmas. Hopefully I'll still make it over there!

I'm off to bed now and then leaving for the airport in just over 6 hours time, so by the time you all wake up again, I'll be well on my way to joining you all

I checked accuweather today and now it's saying "a little rain" and on the hourly forecast shows rain at noon and again later in the afternoon but not all day. So I'm actually optomistic that this will be a good day to go since (hopefully) it will only be a little bit rainy and (hopefully) that will keep people away! So I'm still planning on going and I just talked to DH about the fact that we should still go even with a little rain. I still haven't mentiond about our mini meet. Guess i better tell him soon so he doesn't get too much of a surprise. Or maybe I can just happen to walk by the castle at noon "Oh hey! Look at all those LGMHs over there!" No, actually DH is very easy going so he won't mind.

So hopefully we'll see you all tomorrow!
