Role Question?

So I'm considering applying for Fall 2014 but I'm really curious about certain roles. I really want an entertainment position preferably character perform but I know the odds of getting that are hard, so my second choice would be a character attendant, but I was wondering what other roles might fall under this category. I know they aren't listed as entertainment but would photopass photographer and pirate league fall under that category?

Since I'm asking questions can someone also tell me the difference between hospitality and concierge?

Please and Thank You!

Hello! You're right that character performer roles are difficult to get, they sometimes have auditions for CPs during programs, but not always. At the end of my program, they didn't have any auditions for the spring advantage to extend to, but some for the fall advantage.

Photopass and Pirate League do not fall under entertainment no. Photopass works closely with the characters at times but not always, they're stationed outside of major attractions and photogenic spots that don't always involve characters.

The difference between hospitality and concierge is hospitality mainly works front desk of the hotel. Concierge is in charge of arranging restaurant tickets and is less involved with the front desk operations. Concierge is a difficult and rare role to receive. It involves far more than hospitality does and more intense.

I know that they aren't entertainment positions but if I eventually wanted to do entertainment with the company would they be good starting points?

Any point in company is a good place to start, just be aware if you aren't a character performer to begin with, they don't always host auditions for CPs. You may have to wait until your program is over. However, photopass photographer and character attendant would be your best bet.
