ROL FP?

Maybe I missed this thread elsewhere, but does anyone know if ROL will be offering FP+ opening week? We will be there April 22-27, right when it opens. We have our Magic Bands and I don't see it as a FP option online.

We'd rather not have to get the Dinner package because we would like to eat at BOMA the night we go to AK.....

I haven't seen anything yet. I would just keep your eyes peeled as we get closer and closer. I don't think the dining packages are available yet either, although they're showing up on the apps. Another option could be to do Tusker House breakfast as the dining package, then Boma for dinner.

According to Disney Parks Blog, FP+ is planned for ROL. They posted today that "Guests may be able to make their plans through My Disney Experience soon."

This will be good news for us because I really don't want to drop a bunch of money on a dining package and really don't want to fight crowds for SRO space.

This line jumped out at me, so I want to mention that Magic Bands have nothing to do with the ability to book FP. That is determined by having tickets linked in MDE and being within the correct booking window. Just wanted to make sure you understood.

Also with Disney making the attraction available for booking on FP+. Which they have not done yet for RoL. All they have said about when it will be active for FP+ booking is "soon." Dining packages aren't available for booking yet either.

May I ask what the process is when you check the app? I am afraid I'll mess up my FP's already. I think I press Modify My Existing...and then the date...but then what? I'd like to keep checking, but not sure how? Any helps or can someone walk me through the process? TIA!

The only thing I might add is that as long as you don't save anything, nothing will actually be changed.

Thanks Robo and Cruisin Spartan! For a first timer with MB, FP like this, this is great! Once I got all our FP's we wanted, and then saw there might be a ROL FP, I knew I needed helps! And I was more afraid of messing up what I had, so every time I got to a certain point, I'd go back... You guys Rock!
