ROL FP+ advice when shows are at 9:15 and 10:30?

Looks like AK is staying open until 10:30 on the night we're there, and now there are two ROL shows. We've never seen it before, and I have a FP for the 9:15.

From what I've read, FP generally isn't a necessity for this show either way. I'm thinking the later show will be even less full than the 9:15, and we can easily stay to see the 10:30-- no rope drop the following morning. Our FOP FP is at 6:05, so we'll have quite a gap if I switch our last FP to the 10:30 ROL show.

This is what I'm considering:
1) Leave as-is. Use Safari and FOP FP+ between 5-6:15, enjoy small plates and drinks at Nomad Lounge afterward, and head to ROL when the FP+ window opens around 8:35. Search for a new FP for Everest or something after we swipe into the theater.
2) Switch ROL FP to 10:30. I can't touch the FOP FP+, obviously, but just take the break to enjoy Nomad Lounge and evening atmosphere and any short lines we come across in the interim. We have an EMH AK day later in the week to hit more attractions.
3) Roll the dice and drop ROL FP+ altogether, and try to do 10:30 standby with the expectation of lower crowds for the second show.

What would you do?

A. Yup.
B. Sounds right.
I'd go with option 3 and try for a same-day FP for RoL later in the day.
You could use your 3rd pre-booked FP for something else, add 4th and/or 5th Same-day FP if you are still wanting them, then try booking the 10:30 RoL FP at, say, 9:00pm-ish.

We finally saw RoL during spring break - so pretty high crowds. We did the 2nd show and entire sections in fast pass and standby were completely empty. We had our choice of seat and even were able to stretch our legs out in front of us and leave gaps between us.

We walked in 15 minutes before it started.

So in my very limited experience, unless you're traveling at Christmas, I think you're fine to skip FP altogether but the very least, wait and snag it later that night.
