I just got a cell phone with service provided by Rogers. I live in New Brunswick and will be traveling to another part of the province later this week that is outside of my local calling area. I don't know much about cell phones yet but it seems to me that if someone calls me while I'm away on my phone, I'll be charged a good amount of money just for answering it. So, my question is two-fold:
1. How much will I get charged per minute to receive or make phone calls while I'm away?
2. Is there any way that I can minimize these charges with roaming numbers or something like that?
Most of the calls that I will be receiving and making are to people who will also be at the conference with me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated and the sooner the better!
