Roger's brother is being sent over to Turkey

He is in the Air Force and usually stationed in California but he is being sent over to Turkey (I guess in preparation for going to war.) I didn't think that the war would affect anyone I personally knew but I guess it has now.

Sorry to hear that. My BIL is in Ft. Campbell KY with the 1001st quartermaster company, waiting to be deployed somewhere overseas. All we know is that whereever the 101st airborne goes, they'll be going with them.

My dh is in Kuwait right now, was suppose to be home in 3 wks, but won't be home until after June. He'll be gone for 6mths or longer. He is home sick along with all the other guys, but I do know, THEY LOVE TO GET FOOD AND OTHER PACKAGES!!!!! So send plenty of letters,cards, and FOOD!!!!! They will thank you so very much!!!

Nephews---Twins--are in Turkey. Not sure but as they are with the engineers corps I would think they are building roads, support buildings, along with helping to remodel the airports.

One twin was suppose to be out in April----was told there is a hold on all discharges-----looks like he and is brother will be gone a year.

I hope all will get settled with out a war.
