Can you tell me if this ride has a lot of spinning? Like Tea Cups spinning or is it like Buzz Lightyear's car moving around freely as you want? I have motion sickness and cannot ride Mad Tea Cups. I won't be able to see the ride until I'm inside and I don't want to end up the day bad :sad2: I've looked at some videos but I can't see how the car moves.

If I recall corectly, it's kinda like buzz, with the exception that you can more control the spin, so in that instance, it's like tea cups. It's no where near as bad as tea cups if you ask me, but it does jerky spins. Maybe someone else can better clarify :)

I second that!! It is kind of loud and there are lots of lights flashing but you have control of the car.

Hope that heps! Enjoy :wizard:

If you just keep your hands off the wheel, the car will turn itself in what I consider to be a mild experience (basically just turning so you best see the scenes--though not having motion sickness, I can't swear they wouldn't be too extreme for you, and there might be an instance or two where it kind of slowly spins you all the way around). I don't know if there are any other rides in Disneyland that do that; I guess Haunted Mansion kind of turns to face the scenes, but I THINK Roger Rabbit might turn faster (though it doesn't tilt you backwards in your seat like Haunted Mansion).

The Roger Rabbit cabs are just moving on a track and then you spin--not a spinning cup inside a spinning wheel (as the Teacups are). So while it turns there's overall less force being exerted on you, IMO.

Really, provided your party keeps their hands off the wheel, Roger Rabbit is nothing like the Teacups. :)

Even when I've tried with a ride partner, I haven't been able to get it to spin anywhere near as fast as the Teacups. If someone else driving Buzz doesn't bother you, then I think Roger Rabbit will probably be OK. If Buzz is on the borderline of acceptable, though, then I don't know. :flower3: Good luck!

DBF and I prefer not to spin but we like RR so when we ride it he hold the wheel so we don't spin so much. :) It's definitely controllable.

I've only been on it twice, and while I don't have motion sickness, I wouldn't take my 9 month old on it. I think it's too jerky for a baby.

Thank you. That's what I needed to go. With the exception of Tea Cups at MK and Mission Space at Epcot, I've never had a motion sickness problem with WDW rides.
