Roger Rabbit

Possibly planning on going to DL next year en route to Hawii in place of a WDW/Disney Cruise trip for our Honeymoon. But my burning question is:

in Disneyland, since he has a ride there, can you get your picture taken with Roger Rabbit? When I was on WDWCP, I asked where you could meet Roger and I got looked at like I was crazy! The right repsonse might tip my travel plans, since Roger is my all time favorite character and I didn't get to go to Disney World back when Disney MGM Studios was going to be "the Roger Rabbit park"

Can't answer on the Roger Rabbit thing, but what a choice between HM's!!! We did 6 nights at WDW and a 4 night DCL cruise last year for our HM and it was AMAZING!!! My cousin did what you guys are thinking about...she was married at WDW (that is an amazing place to get married, if you can afford it ), then they headed out to DLR for 3 days (right after DCA opened) then headed out to Hawaii.
So now that I have not answered your question because I have no idea....enjoy whatever you guys do! Sounds like no matter what you choose, you have some Disney Magic planned in there! Best way to do it!! Enjoy your HM planning!

I have not seen Roger Rabbit in the park since back BEFORE Toontown was open.

My family and I go to Disneyland once a week & have never seen Roger Rabbit greeting guest.

But he is in the "Parade of the Star" parade & a certain guests gets to dance with him & hold his hand during the parade. About 1/2-1 hour before the parade, they pick pick guests to be in it. Just look for CM's wearing light blue overalls w/clouds on them scouting the crowds along the parade route. Approuch one & tell them how much you love Roger Rabbit & you'd like to be with him in the parade (Also mention it's your honeymoon). Before the parade starts, you can take as many pictures w/Roger Rabbit as you'd like & you also get to be in the parade with him!!

Actually, unless things have changes, this probably isn't true. When you go backstage to prepare for the parade you aren't allowed to take any pictures. The characters don't arrive until right before you head out for the parade and so there's really no time to take pictures. The characters are "on stage" as soon as you step out into the park and can't stop for pictures. At the end of the parade route the guests who participated are not brought backstage again, they are herded off to the sidelines and the characters go backstage. You can still try and be in the parade and have someone else take pictures as they watch, but you won't really be able to stop and pose.
