No my check was cashed much quicker (like a week after I sent it)-they really should actually cash it quickly to make sure the funds are truly there

Nice, congrats! I think the 67 cents threw them off. They spent a million dollars on a study to determine that handling the change costs more than the change is worth.

Nice, congrats! I think the 67 cents threw them off. They spent a million dollars on a study to determine that handling the change costs more than the change is worth.

If only I put cents into my BWV offers. This one the seller was asking 12000 and had 2 contracts that were exactly the same for sale. I offered 10,000 thinking there may be some negotiations. Seller accepted the offer and I gambled with passing ROFR....woohoo what a great investment..

I can't believe that they would lie to you, because it would probably be the last sale they made to a Disboards member, maybe Disney just is turning things over quicker. Our contract for AKV was submitted 7/29 so I hope we have the same timing.

I have had quite the experience with ROFR. I had 3 BWV contracts taken by DVD...one at 9 days.
With ROFR it has been the most stressful part of buying resale for me.
I am nervous until the deed is registered as anything can happen. It's not over until I see the points in my account.

I am still celebrating passing this hurdle.
My first offer for a BWV contract was submitted on Mar23......my BWV contract deed was registered with OC on Aug 10....still waiting for points and new member number.
The fact that this SSV contract passed so quickly at an unbelievable price is still hard for me to accept.

it can take 2-3 weeks for Disney to get you your points after the deed is recorded. It's a long wait, I know, I can't imagine after your first contracts got taken how you are hanging in there. Good luck

They're actually now one of the two "approved" resellers that DVD refers people to when they want to sell their shares. Thus, you shouldn't have any problem at all.

Yes SSV would be my third contract. I have a fourth for an additional 100 pts at AKV waiting for ROFR...then I am hopefully done.
