I do not know and no this is our first contract!
If you want to go to Aulani, that is available...... You might be able to pick up a Grand Villa at SSR or a few other places. Just checked the 60 day availability tool in the DVC membership account website.

lol. I redid mine about 6 times the first time I posted here, and even looking back at it now, I STILL forgot to include the closing costs in the price!

Thanks for the feedback, btw. :-)

Everyone, please feel free to post or PM me any suggestions for improvement. I am planning on one more update sometime soon. In case anyone is wondering (of course you all are dying to know this), the main reason is to make the 5 use years "dynamic" so that on January 1st, they "shift" up by one year automatically. However, I would be grateful for any other suggestions. (I don't have much hope for the lackluster design, though. In case it's not abundantly obvious already, 1990s HTML is about the extent of my web design skills.)

Would it be helpful to have the broker listed too?

Plus one of the big DVC brokers is banned from being mentioned by name here on disboards (not sure exactly why but some type of policy violation it seems-probably advertising I'd guess) so many listings would say ***** for the broker name

Well Disney picked this one up :(. Back to the drawing board.

Bummer. I guess they value the extended years more than we do. Still surprising, though. I figured they'd target the ones that weren't extended to get rid of them but what do I know? :confused3

We were hoping we were safe as another similarly priced contract passed but what can you do.

The silver lining is that it came with 77 points expiring 2/1/17 that we couldn't used and were not going to be easily rented out. Honestly, in the 10 days from whence started the process, I learned a lot and might do some things a little differently prior to the next offer.

They only buy back a small percentage. I'd just shoot for the best deal and cross my fingers; I wouldn't change my strategy or anything like that. It'll work out next time!

I hope Disney does not pick this one up! It is our first time doing this. I would be really sad :(

I'm also hoping for a quick turnaround like some people on here have gotten!

Congrats on the accepted offer! And good luck with ROFR! We are SSR owners ourselves! It was our first Disney Resort we ever stayed in and just LOVE IT, so we had to buy there. Now we've stayed in a bunch and can't wait to try them all!

We simply submitted what we wanted to pay until a buyer accepted our terms. We went up 1$ from our original offer per point to get the contract we eventually closed on.

I think they only buy back a few. And would keep trying to submit what you want until it goes through, as long as it's not extremely under market value I don't think they will take it.

That's what we were thinking, eventually it will all fall into place.

Trying again.
