I saw a 25 point CCV contract listed today (at a ridiculous price). I inquired because CCV should only have 50 point contracts. Was told by the broker that apparently DVC offered 25 point add-ons at CCV for a short period of time. Has anyone heard this before?

Yes, I’m sure the minimum for Blue Card benefits was only 25 points around the time CCV was first on sale.
It went to 75 in 2018

I suspect DVC 2.0 is whatever they really want to do with the 2042 resorts. They need to start working on it now to have plans in place before then.

My guess is 2042 resorts ( except OKW) will get shutdown one at a time get a major overhaul and "resold" as new points. The others resorts while waiting their turn for an overhaul will be rented out for cash, while HHI and VB are sold off. You better believe the point charts will be adjusted.

This is a great thread. Wish I'd read the whole thing and found the DVCROFR tool before I just came to agreement with a seller. Contract's not signed yet but SSR Sept. 285 pts @85/pt, 200/23 285/24 285/25. (Will post with correct format when sent.) Listed at $95, offered $80, countered at $89, landed on $85. Seems on trend but not super awesome and I usually aim for super awesome.

Update: Not sure if I should have added the text on maintenance fees for banked 2023 points.

Thanks. I really felt quite guilty about it and did ask the broker if their clients were really sure including my asking them to pay the MF, but they said that 's what they agreed and happily proceeded.

My take-away is that I cannot do deals with the board sponsor because they would surely have told them that their Instant Sale was a better deal.

I think they actually paid more than $89, but $5k is what I got then I paid commissions from that. (as a seller it's confusing, but i just want it to be reflected correctly comparing apples to apples)

Asking price $80 (so 20% off) and 4mo. I don't know if it been on at a higher price before.
