Here's my list of all buyers who are still currently waiting on ROFR. Please let me know if anyone has any updated info for me. Obviously, there are a few people on this list who have been waiting for a long time. However, I don't know if they are still waiting or just never posted a status update on the thread.

We sent on 8/13 so I just contacted my broker to see if they've heard anything. Crossing my fingers.

Passed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm no VWL expert, but I've seen some people on here get $80-$85 range in July and August.

I would agree with this. We paid $85 pp but the seller paid 2015 MFs so we paid a little higher than we would have. Since then I think they have jumped a little due to lack of contracts on the market.

Guess what my contract was never sent to ROFR after almost coming up to 28 days?! Now what? they said they can expedite it could we get out of the contract at this point?

I recall "Vacation Kathy" posting on another thread about passing and the sellers not having banked the points. I don't know about any of the others.

Sorry, all. I haven't moved on or anything. I just got busy over the Labor Day Weekend. Anyway, to try and catch up, here is a listing of buyers who should hear about ROFR within the next week, if they haven't already heard. If anyone knows "mrsmickeywaffles", I am missing the number of points on her contract.

Is it just me or does it seem like Disney is taking more contracts back than in the beginning of the year? I hate seeing all these disappointed people!

So Sorry! I'm so nervous this will happen to me. My husband and my broker told me to not get my hopes up.

Hopefully you get through!! We have all seen some great priced contracts get through, so you never know. I wouldn't have thought they would take OKW at $86pp, but maybe they didn't like that I wasn't paying MF on 2 years worth of points. Who knows. As much as I WANT the points, I don't absolutely need them right now. I will definitely keep looking and trying!

I think summer sees more demands for contracts, perhaps they have a long waiting list? People vacation at Disney and think, would't it be great to join DVC? I would assume the long summer brings more inquiries but I do not know for sure perhaps there are fewer resale contracts on the market in the summer as well?
