I'm wonderin'....now that DVC will have anywhere from 60K to 100K points available for purchase at BWV (starting with current members and available to new owners on June 1st) will it be less likely for them to exercise their ROFR on BWV deals out there via resale?

Wonderin' if I should focus on BWV lower priced resales out there.

I think the answer depends on the response they get to this new batch of BWV points. If they sell all the new points quickly and end up with a list of folks they cannot satisfy, they may keep up the ROFR buying, especially for any contract under the $74 per point magical beginnings price.

I would imagine that it should take some time before they are able to sell off those large amounts of points. So, maybe in the interim they'll hold off on using their ROFR.

Disney never seems to play this game strictly by the $$$. They may buy back resales that they will not make any money on and let others go through that seem to be a very good deal. Don't assume just because there's a bunch of points for sale that they'll back off their buy backs. I sincerely doubt it'll make any difference. Besides they will have no problem selling all of the points and I doubt many if any will make it to non owners. BWV has the best combination of location and value in the DVC system with the standard view rooms.

Sorry, didn't see the post about release of the sales office. Would love to buy some Boardwalk points.
