ROFR in 2 Weeks on BLT! How soon to book?

We just passed our ROFR for (270) points at BLT for $92/PP--which I thought was a killer deal. Now the question is--is it safe to assume (2) weeks for closing docs, and another couple weeks for member number?

All that totaled, do you think it will be possible to be able to start booking rooms by mid-January? I need to book our late-Oct trip, and want to be as close to 11-months as possible.

I was 21 days from ROFR passing to making a reservation, but all the stars lined up.

It could be one to three weeks before you get the closing documents. Then, you're really at the mercy of the seller getting those documents returned in a timely manner. Once you close, it's 10-14 days before you can book.

We passes ROFR on October 28th and didn't receive closing documents until November 20th. We mailed them back the 25th and our deed was recorded on December 5th so now I'm waiting for my member number

I've heard that while DVD has been fast recently in responding to ROFR request they have been slow on delivering the required estoppel. Closing can't happen without it.

Yes and they are backed up with the transferring or whatever process for issuing new member numbers
