Does this mean we passed ROFR? Our deposit check was received last week (sent certified mail) & cashed just yesterday.

Is this good sign? :lovestruc

Your broker will let you know when you passed ROFR. Your deposit check is separate from ROFR.

By check, do you mean your deposit? That has nothing to do with ROFR, and generally you don't send the closing funds to the closing agent/broker until it has passed rofr...at least that's been my experience.

A deposit must be made in order to have a valid contract which would then be submitted to DVD for rofr consideration. Closing funds are generally required to be in a certified format - so you would not see in your bank account when that was deposited, only when you removed the funds from your account.

It just means that they got your check.

There is no way they would hold the check until you pass ROFR. If your contract does not pass ROFR or there is another problem found with the contract you will get your money refunded to you.

Bummer. :sad2:
I was hoping it "meant" something more than just "we got your check."

Oh well...here's to more waiting.
