Hi we are looking at staying at the rodeway inn without a car how easy is it to get to all the parks without one? also how are the rooms there?
Thanks Emma

If you go to the parks by shuttle bus from the hotel it will probably cost you at least $13.00 per person. You can get to disney by the local bus service and its so much cheaper, only downside is that you spent about an hour getting there by bus (you need to get 2 buses).

I stayed at the rodeway inn in june 2002, the rooms are fairly large 2 double beds, fridge, microwave, table and chairs, bathroom etc. All clean and decent for a 3 star hotel.

They only serve a breakfast buffet at this hotel, as they have a chinese resturant which serves evening meals. But don't let that put you off, their are tons and tons of resturants just outside the hotel front door. Just go out and explore the area for different food choices.

Hi there i am sure that the rodeway does a free shuttle to some if not all of the parks if not take the lynx bus from just outside your hotel its cheap enough roughly $1/2 dollares per peson

We stayed there earlier this year and they did a free shuttle to Universal and I think Sea World (we only used the Universal one). To get to Disney you need to get to Sea World and then the 50 bus, we would get the number 8 Lynx bus which stops outside the Rodeway and if you get a ticket transfer you can use it on the 50 so it only costs $1.50 each to get to Disney. You can also get one of the taxis which will pull up at the 50 bus stop and they will charge about $2 a head to take you to Disney, for a little more they will take you direct to the park you want to go to. When we went to see wishes or illuminations we would arrange with the taxi driver to pick us up after it finished and they will take you back to your hotel for $4 (they will also pick you from your hotel). Having a car would be easier but we don't bother and most times it has been okay. :)

We were with Virgin holidays when we stayed at the rodeway in June 2004 and they had a deal with mears taxi and you could buy tickets from them, it was still quit costly but got you to the parks quicker. The free bus was only to seaworld and univresal but the i tram was easier to use for them.

I loved this hotel because it was located in a lovely place on I-drive with plenty of places to eat.
