I'm trying to plan an affordable trip to Disney in March and was wondering if anyone has stayed at the Rodeway Inn Maingate that's just off 192. It's very affordable (maybe too affordable to be any good!), but compared to the Comfort Inn Maingate East where we stayed last year, it's a bargain. I can't get over the price increase there from the same time last year! Anyway, it's only for a couple of nights and it just might fit the bill. It's just got to be clean! Also, has anyone ever made reservations somewhere where they state a max of 4 people and you've had 5? We are planning to bring a foam mattress and sleeping bag for the trip down when we stay places with just 2 beds - the youngest doesn't mind sleeping on the floor as long as he's got bedding from home! Do hotels really mind that? Just asking for some feedback. Thanks!

Sorry I never stayed at the hotel your asking about. I did however stay at the Days Inn maingate East last year and I had a rate of $19.99 a night. We are staying there again in February. The rate did go up, but it is still only $34.99 a night. Still pretty reasonable.
I booked throught this website: www.go2orlando.com. It has all sorts of travel info for the area. On the right hand side of the screen it has all sort of adverstisments for hotels and condos. I would check them all out because I spent hours on end check every site possible for the best deals and they were the cheapest.
Supposedly Day's Inn guarantees their internet rates on their own site are the lowest available. They have a program that if you can find a lower rate they will be it by 10%. They have all the rules about this on their website. www.daysinn.com.

I stayed at the hotel a few weeks ago. It definitely ain't the Ritz, but for under $30, you shouldn't expect it to be. I thought it was a clean and quiet place. The rooms are kind of small, so a family of four may find it tight. I broke off the showerhead by accident, though. I put it down and ran away! :) But for $30, it is a good deal. You get free coffee, juice, and a muffin in the lobby for breakfast.
