I don't know for sure.......but they are the same songs they used last year and it's getting old listening to the same songs over and over.

Same songs as last year? Didn't know that! I didn't watch becuase I thought it was distasteful for INXS to have a reality show to replace Michael.

I was NEVER a big INXS fan myself but I got caught up in it after watching the first episode........I'm just a BIG rock music fan in general and I love watching reality TV.

They had more songs last year than they did this year.
No Coldplay or Evanescence last year. I don't remember any Live either. It's to do with getting permission to use songs. Although I do think they haven't tried all too hard to get a variety of music.

Storm's boyfriend was in Everclear. I'm surprised they didn't use that connection to clear the way for some Everclear songs to be performed. That would have been a nice break from the same old same old.

Here are some of my thoughts: Diliana was in the bottom 3 last night because people are tired of her & did not care from her little "falling from Grace" this week I think alot of people vote for 2 rockers & this time did not vote for her. And I thought this was RockStarSN not HeavyMetal SN.

Agree with the statement that no one saved them selves last nite they all stunk. I thyought Storm would do well with Helter Sketler she wanted it when Patrice took it & Patrice was very hohum with it. And I have to say Dana killed it-Bob O'Reily & Ryan just plain stuck.

Now the mumbling Lukas starts out strong & then I can not understand him. It is just like the Vocal coach said in the one clinic he does not use his voice correctly which is why he starts out strong & them sounds like mumbling.

Love this show and have been watching since the begining of this season...(this is the first season I have watched)

Toby- this was a good song for him, however I don't think he has the carisma to front the band. He also seems like a good guy which is great in the real world but in the music world especially being connected with T Lee you need to have a bad boy vibe to you. But man is that Aussie cute....

Magni- The strongest contestant due to vocal ability and the smarts to stay out of trouble with the media. But once again seems to have no "edge" to him and in my opinion lacks stage preformance...

Storm- sorry but since day one she has seemed like a stripper who wants to be a rock singer, all of her actions seem to be contrived, and last night sitting on T Lee's lap was a cheesy move.......IMHO

Dilana- one of my favorites, love her gravely voice she reminds me of a Janis Joplin crossed with Stevie Nicks .... but last week she really screwed up and I can;t belived she was so careless to throw a glass on the ground around other people. I still like her a lot and think she looks good with Supernova...

Lukas- call me strange but I'm in love, he is soooo cute IMO, his voice grat when he opens up and sings and yes sometimes I think he mumbles but I also think tht is just his style....

Ryan- bye bye did not like this guy from day one he seemed FAKE and all of his onstage antics seemed contrived to a extensive degree. His comments last night were uncalled for. These guys gave him exposure and he could of gone far as a solo artist but dont ever as those guys for help now you wont get it.

Just my opnions but love this show.........next to go Storm or Toby

I liked Ryan and was sad to see him go already. I think he is too good for SN. I think he will do much better on his own. Ryan was my favorite if I had to pick. But this year no one really stands out. Last year Marty was my favorite, but I knew he wasn't going to win. He didn't have the right look for INXS.

Maybe it is our tv but we have never been able to understand what many of the contestants are saying except for Storm.

DH and I noticed that too. It seems like they had the mixers for the background music up too high, as it overpowered the singers. I thought it might have been our TV, but if others were noticing too, I guess not.

I registered at the site dturner gave the link to and listened to Lukas w/Supernova one more time.

There was a difference in the mix level on the vocals, but IMO, it was just more clear that he "mumbles". He blended many of the words in each line together and in some cases never finishes the last syllable on different lines.

I do find it odd that those MP3's have a different level mix than the TV audio feed. I have sampled many of the songs and I think it's true across the board.

Yes I do! I got to see him perform some of the songs live in Boston at the beginning of August. I went to two of his shows, very small venues, I got to meet him, it was awesome. The songs sounded really good.

Disney was awesome, wish I was back there. We loved the Beach Club and the free dining was so much food. My daughter and I started to share our TS credits after the night she barely touched her steak at Kona Cafe, my husband ate it for breakfast the next day.

My brother could't wait to email me about Dilana's performance on Psycho Killer, I think that one left everyone saying what the heck was that.

Can't wait for this week.
