Rocking ds for nap in care centers?

I just had a bit of a thought. Could I use the rocking chairs to rock my ds (17 months) for a nap in the care centers? He's a rocking-only napper, but he'll do it anywhere there is a rocker. If we try to go back to the room, he'll fall asleep on the monorail and wake up when we get to the room.

It would only take him 5-10 minutes to fall asleep. Is he too old for me to be using the care centers?

He is definately not too old for the care centers! If I remember correctly there were at least 1 rocker in each center, so go fot it!
If the monorail works for him, jump on and enjoy the ac while he sleeps. No need to get off!

I only went in a child care center once. It was at MK. We had planned on leaving for a nap and we decided to stay for the whole day so I ran out of diapers. They were wonderful. You should have no problem rocking to sleep there. It's like a little oasis for the little ones that have been overstimulated by disney. Have fun!

You should be able to use the baby care centers with no problems. Your little guys is, after all, still a baby!

You might find, though, that your rocker baby will actually go to sleep rather easily in his stroller. My little guy was a rocker, but we always found that, when we were out and about, he just passed right out in his stroller with no problems. Something about that nice motion (and all that Disney excitement) just put him right to sleep. Then, while he was sleeping, we would just duck in for some shopping or find a nice shady spot to sit and enjoy some icecream and people watching.

I'm pretty sure that you can rent a rocker from ABBF to have in your room, too, if you think you might need it.
