Rockin Roller Coaster Music

A few years ago, we rode RNRC at Disneyland Paris and the music didn't work in one of the cars. It was amazing how different the ride was without the music. It seemed slower and actually kinda boring. We had ridden earlier that same day WITH music (the problem was apparently only the speakers in one of the vehicles).

I commented to my son that a "Rock 'n' Roller" Coaster without the Rock 'n' Roll is merely an "er" coaster.

 

[Retro Magic]

This past week I rode it twice. Dude looks like a Lady played for me on Tuesday and earlier in the week it was Walk this Way. I loved Dude because it makes me think of Mrs Doubtfire every time

 

[Chimaera]

I like how people now shout out during the intro video ("how about some backstage passes?").

The timing of this (a cast member yelling it) makes me think it's a distraction so people turn away from the "studio" and don't see Steven do the *shocker*. I'm still amazed Disney left that in after all these years.

 

[River Country]

Top 3 favorite ride in WDW. I did know about the music and I think I have heard all variations. I thought I remember hearing PINK but I could be wrong. The song PINK not the artist. The best part of this ride is in the que before you get to the studio, there are rock concert t shirts on the wall and one of them is a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band shirt from 2003 at the Jersey Shore. The picture on the shirt is that of the pier at Seaside Heights with the Ferris Wheel and the Jet Star. The reason this is sentimental to me an other New Jerseyans is that the pier and the amusements were destroyed in Hurricane Sandy back in 2012. This alone may actually make it my favorite ride
