We went on the Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour at the end of March. Our CM guide said that Rocket Rods would probably not reopen due to techical problems with the ride. (Evidently the track just couldn't handle the "quicker" car movement.)

When asked what would replace it, he said that he couldn't say, but that he had heard that "Disneyland would be going 'to infinity and beyond.'"

That would be awesome if they opened Buzz Lightyear at Disneyland! We rode it 4 times at WDW, and it was one of my favorite rides. It's too bad they're closing Rocket Rods. I'm glad I got to ride it in 1999. I guess that was before all the major problems started.

Does anyone know when (or if) they're re-opening Roger Rabbit? I love that ride, and I was looking forward to enjoying it in June.
