Rock your disney side event crowds

Hi! The 24 hour event falls during our trip and I was wondering if we should skip it or go to the parks that day. I've never been during a 24 hour thing and was wondering how the crowds are and what are the best times to ride? Any experiences or tips are welcome. Thanks!
