Rock the Universe Question(s)

I am wanting to go to the parks and MAYBE stay one night for the Rock the Universe. However, I have never attended Rock the Universe, nor the parks earlier those days.

First question: How crowded is the park during the regular park hours (not the special event)?? I saw a special deal which said for groups 10 or more that they get 3 day access to BOTH PARKS AND both night of rock the Universe for like $80 (at least that's what my mom saw somewhere) That's not fair!! I'm guessing a lot of youth groups would take advantage of this, then?

Second Question: I have attended Night of Joy twice and loved it. Before I wouldn't even *think* of going to Rock the Universe (even though I don't like Disney World much, depends all on the line up!!). How do the two compare? Is Rock the Universe more crowded since it's a smaller area than the Magic Kingdom? How do the concert line ups work (times...how much conflict? How many shows do each artist do? etc).

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

During the day, crowds will be slow. It's September, afterall. But yes, many youth groups do attend, and the night crowd is often busy. I'll get my first-hand experience this year.

Also, in 2001, P.O.D. was there, and they drew a huge crowd. I've heard *of* the Newsboys, only because they always do RTU.

Newsboys has become very big in the world of pop Christian music. They should draw very well.

Yeah, I saw them at Acquire the Fire in Tampa. Because it was the Newsboys, they let people attend for concert only instead of the 2-day conference.

Newsboys are really popular...great music. Been around a long time. Well, I guess I'll expect the large crowd that night, but that's all right Thanks for your help!!!
