Rock the Universe Event

Just realized that this hard ticket event is scheduled for the weekend after Labor Day. This is when my family and I were planning to go. I looked up the ticket packages for this event and even though the even doesn't start till 4pm, some ticket packages for the event include 2 full day park tickets. Can anyone who has gone to this event or been to Universal during this event comment on the crowds?

First visit with DS20 last year. We stayed on site so had express pass. I don't remember it being very crowded except towards late afternoon. I don't like crowds at all, and it was busy, but not to the point that it bothered me. We were there Sept 5-8.

I think the Rock Your Weekend package includes 3 days in the park (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). I was at Universal in 2006 during Rock the Universe. The only think that seemed overly crowded to me was IOA on Saturday. It seemed like most of the church groups did IOA during the day before going to USF for the concerts. At the concerts, the areas around the stage would be crowded but if you backed up even a little bit you could get some room. I was bouncing between the main stage and the secondary stage. For the main stage (under HRRR) by the time you got to Monster Cafe you had room to move.
