Rock the Universe - couple of questions

We are annual seasonal passholders and are planning on attending Rock the Universe. So do I need to buy a 2 park pass or just the 2 night concert ticket? We're planning to go to both parks.
How do you plan your day if you are already in the park?
Do we really need to add the express pass?
