Rock-n-Roller Coaster preshow digitally altered?!?

I was just sent a FB post from Inside the Magic saying the "hand gesture" used by Steven Tyler during the pre-show was digitally altered. Can anyone confirm this??? http://www.**************.net/2016/...-roller-coaster-at-disneys-hollywood-studios/

is it April Fool's? Are we being punk'd??

For those who don't know, there are some who think he made what some consider an "obscene" gesture with his hand during the video. I am not one of those people...at least, not one who cares even if it was intentional. LOL.

Such a disappointment! And if it was soooo vulgar, why has it been left in that way since day one?

Not going to comment on the hand gesture, but 2 other fun facts about the video:
1) The guy at the mod board is Ken Marino from Veronica Mars and Agent Carter and a bunch of movies
2) When Joe calls out to have someone grab his Les Paul, there used to be a cast member in the booth that would grab it unplug it and tun out the door. That only lasted for a very short while though.

This. RnR is probably my favorite ride in all WDW. I've never really noticed, and frankly don't care. Hope people aren't whining and complaining about it, but I guess people will always find something to whine about or be offended by. Soon the Muppets pre-show video will change because the evil frog (forget his name) has an accent which someone will complain is stereotyping...

It opened July 29, 1999, 17 years ago. The obscene gesture comments started when it first opened. So what happened? Another day they couldn't take? lol Why remove it now, absurd.

Min 8:55 can't see it in this video but Gonzo is dancing while he has a pot on his hand, the Gonzo in the middle screen drops his pot and says "I dropped my pot"

Dumb! Of course that's what Steven Tyler meant by that hand gesture but I think I was too young to know what that meant when I first rode this ride and before I stopped paying close attention to the pre-show. HA!

As for the Muppets' joke, I think that is the beauty of a lot of Disney humor that can appeal to kids on one level and adults on a more adult level that kids will not understand. Please don't stop that stuff. I can laugh at the pot joke and not be a pot smoker or someone who might be offended. People out there (and I don't mean the people on this thread, I mean the world in general), let's just stop being offended about every little dumb thing. Sticks and stones, people.
