Rock 'n' Roller Coaster or Expedition Everest?

Another note: My DDad isn't a thrill-ride person because he hates heights, but he's more willing to do RnR than EE on our next trip because it's all in the dark (he just rode Space Mountain for the first time ever in Jan.). So, if the height thing is an issue, it's definitely easier to handle on RnR.

I love them both for different reasons but RNR is my all time favorite rollercoaster. The speed, the music, the glow in the dark, its amazing. EE is a great ride too the theme, the yeti and the plot makes it all really exciting. :woohoo:

We've been on both many, many times and we prefer EE, primarily because it is newer.

I like them both, but RnRC is my number one favorite ride at WDW!
The things I like that make RnRC #1...
a) the catapult launch is great
b) the music blaring in your ears as you go blasting down the track
c) the theming is very good
d) the fact that it's a dark ride
e) and of course the inversions are great also

The one thing I don't like is that it is over too soon :(
Can't wait to ride it again.:thumbsup2

I think EE has better theming. Not to say that RnRC doesn't have any, but it's a little more gray cinder blocks and black light glow-paint. EE has an actual mountain, and artifacts in the preshow. It feels more uniquely Disney.

I know that the last time we went to disney my dd was only 47 inches well we are @ the drs know and she is currently 48 and 1/4 inches...so I know for sure I can't wait for our next trip just so that we can ride RnR together

EE always gives me a sense of adventure... as I wind through the Yeti shrine and the museum I really feel like the legend is real. Every time I go up the main lift I get chills. Excellent theming.

Expedition Everest is much better. Rock N Roller Coaster is nothing special.

I love EE so much more! It just seems so much better than RnRC to me! It is even scarier at night when you can't really see where you're going!

I like EE my favorite. It is more visual. Interesting things to look at in the que. The ride has good views.

RnR has a good preshow. But the ride itself is too short in duration. If there are inversions, I wouldn't know since the ride is so fast, dark and over with so quickly.

I LOVE EE. I like RNRC, but EE's theming, atmosphere, and the overall experience it provides are a thousand times better than RNRC's, IMHO. :goodvibes

I love both! I love how you go from 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds on RnR, but I also love going forwards, then backwards, then forward again on EE. I guess if I really had to choose a favorite between the two, I'd have to go with EE.

I prefer RnRC - but I still really like EE!!

My thing is the anxiety I get going up the steep incline. That's the one thing I hate about roller coasters. I love going fast and looping around, but that slow clicking ride to the top of the first drop always freaks me out. :scared1:

We prefer RnR...the Yeti was just too much for me
