Rochester or Syracuse

Hey Everyone

I hope you are surviving this awful winter!

Anyways, I'm from Kingston and am planning a trip to the world for my 30th bday, August 31st to Sept 7th...

I've been looking at flights and am wondering if anyone has flown from Rochester, we usually fly out of Syracuse but there seem to be better prices out of Rochester on different airlines...

Is it worth it to drive a little farther?

I have flown out of both. it depends on the cost of the flight, times, and how much longer it would take.

I'm from Ottawa and have done both. I prefer the proximity of Syracuse... However, if the price is right we would chose Rochester again. Super cheap direct flight is worth the drive.. Good luck

Jet blue out of Syracuse and Southwest out of Rochester both have well priced direct flights. Both are great, but due to our close proximity to Syracuse, we prefer to fly from there - airport is so small and we always stay at the Best Western on Old Collamer Dr. where they have a great park and fly rate and excellent shuttle service to the airport.
