OK, I need to start by saying that this trip will never happen for me for several reasons(money, job, kids, etc.) but it is fun to think about:
I have this crazy idea for a travel book or blog or whatever folks are reading these days. Imagine it is New Years Day and you are stranded at DisneyWorld for an entire year with just the clothes on your back, your Disney Visa card with no spending limit, a laptop computer, and a years supply of any prescription or medical necessity you may need(for me it is disposable contacts). Here are the "rules": You may not leave Disney property(excepting emergencies), you must stay at every hotel for an equal length of time(about 2 weeks at each one), you must ride or see every attraction, eat in every restaurant, counter service location, and food kiosk, and buy everything you need at Disney stores. Forget the outside world-someone else is taking care of your bills(I said this was a fantasy, didn't I?) and obligations. Each day, you should meet a new person or family and spend some time chatting with them, even if is just 5 minutes waiting in line.
I think this would make a very interesting story, from day 1 of finding toiletries and clothes for the next day, a whole year of meeting new people and doing everything Disney!
What do you think? Would you get burned out on Disney? Would you finally be able to do it all? As I said, I will never be able to do this, but if someone out there has the money and the time, please let me know how it turns out!
