I was noticing on past posts that only cat 1-3 get robes in their room. The Carnival Cruise I was on had them in all rooms and I did enjoy that luxury.
Can you purchase robes on ship and how much are they? I figure they will have the DCL logo on them.
Our robes did not have the DCL logo, just plain white terry cloth. I did not see them in the stores but maybe if you go to guest services and ask if you could purchase them. Kathy
If they had the DCL logo, I was thinking to get one as a souvenier. However, if they are just plain then I'm not interested. I'm planning on treating my FMIL to a cruise and thought it would be a nice way to surprise her and have her looking forward to next year's cruise.
I know Carnival had their own logo robes in each room and have a feeling they sell more that way. I'm surprised that Disney doesn't do it too. I love my Carnival robe (very plush and comfy) - I just don't think it's appropriate to bring on a DCL cruise though.
I must of missed the robes in the gift shop. On our Dawn cruise the robes had logos and on our Celebrity cruise the robes had logos. I looked for the logo on the Disney robe provided and there wasn't one. If it would of had a DCL logo on it I would of purchased one to take home.
What I did noticed in the shops was that the merchandise that has been standard merchandise for sale in our last 5 cruises had been changed slightly--not as many colors in the logos on the red visors and the logo was smaller, also the navy and white striped beach bag had a different logo than the previous one I had worn out--again the logo had fewer colors and the size was different. I guess it would cut down on production cost although the asking price of each item didn't go down. I am assuming the older robes had logos but not the new ones.
