Robert at HRH check-in

Did not have a nice experience with Robert checking us in. He refused to even try to put our three families on the same floor even though I had called Guest Services the previous week and asked since we would be staying for a full week. The manager seemed to have no problems, though. :rolleyes:

Then he was really rude when explaining about filling out the forms, "If you would just listen to me, I will tell you how to do it."

He also refused to give the Loews welcome gift even though the other two families had gotten it.

Go figure. Anyone else have problems with Robert? The manager said that he was one of their best and he had never had a complaint about him before.

Sorry you had a bad time with Robert - I guess he was having a bad day.

I had a similar experience once - not a Disney Hotel - but the guy was just really short with me and was speaking down to me like I was an idiot.. in the middle of what he was saying - I just said

"Excuse me - I would really rather have someone else check me in... so I will just go back in line and wait for the next representative"

Then they started stammering and apologizing - so I said "Do you want to try this again from the beginning?" and then he was just great! No problems at all...polite and informative....

Sometimes they forget you are the guests doing them a favour by staying at their hotel... they have it the other way around - like they are doing you a favour by allowing you to stay!

Hope you had a great time at Hard Rock - besides Robert!
