Crap....sounds like we're not the only ones lagging a bit.....we go up in a month, and are still blocking...Act 1!!!

We're almost there. We canceled tonights show just because this show is technical hell....plus to give our new Mrs. Lovett just a little more prep time. The last three nights of run throughs have gone well. Last night was probably the best we've done the show, IMO. Also, as per last night, this will be my first show to ever wear a stage mic. I'm in the bass in "The Letter" quintet and there's just no way to hear me cause its so low without one. So yay to that!

And you have a new Mrs. Lovett too???? We had to let our musical director go due to an assualt charge (against a minor, his son!!), then we 'fired' our Mrs. Lovett due to her extreme 'diva-ness'...seems she's equity and didn't like anyone to forget it. She was miserable to everyone...even Sweeney!!! Then, our Tobias quit, 4 days later!!! But, the cast is at 100% again, and happier than ever, so that's a plus. But, we're still blocking and reblocking stuff that was done awhile ago...here's hoping we can do a run-through soon. Now, if we can get the younger people (in their mid-20's and very chatty) to quiet down, maybe we can get it done.
So, RAPstar...break a leg, merde...and all that stuff. Have a great time...swing that razor high, hear it singing yes!!!!!

Opening night was spectacular!! It went alomst as well as it could, with only a couple of minor flubs. I truly believe this is the best cast I've worked with ever. I can't wait to do it again tonight!!
