Rob Thomas recording song for upcoming Disney movie (updated 10/11)

Rob Thomas posted this a couple weeks ago on his site's board, thought it may be of slight interest to some of you. You can find his original post here - I'm just quoting the Disney part.

i'm going to be on REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHR on sept. 8th, spouting my liberal rhetoric if anyone cares to hear, and while i'm out west, i'll be with matt serletic recording a track for a disney movie out next year. (very exciting s***!)

Matt Serletic has produced all the matchbox records and Rob's solo, and is a Virgin Records bigshot.

No idea! LOL!

I'd heard mention of it a few months ago, but I figured this was about as "official" as it gets until a movie is released and Disney tells us, LOL. But I haven't heard if it's for an animated, live action, or what. If I hear more, I'll post.

A couple updates on this. The song is for the movie Meet the Robinsons, coming out March 30th, and the song is called "Little Wonders"

This article talks about the song title, "Meanwhile, he and producer Matt Serletic are writing and recording a new song, 'Little Wonders,' for the upcoming Disney feature "Meet the Robinsons."
