If you are still there - are there any major roadworks or "hotspots" to avoid?

How are the 192 "Beautification" roadworks coming on?

And what about the new road crossing the 192 up by Orange Lake?

The only problem we've come across is the I4/192 interchange. The I4 seems to be frequently backed-up with traffic. We're using the Sherberth Road shortcut every day (our villa is at Rolling Hills, off the Formosa Gardens Blvd) and we avoided any jams so far. Even when we're returning from Universal we still head into WDW then down to the Sherberth Road shortcut - avoids all the traffic on the I4/192 interchange.

Not ventured as far as Orange Lake on the 192, so no idea how things are going there.

Typhoon Lagood was very busy yesterday, much to our surprise.

Orange lake has some minor roadworks, but not sure who long they will last for. There are some roadworks on the 192 but not really affecting anything just before Orange lake where the new Western Expressway is being built.

There are still roadworks on the 192 near Walmart, they were there a year ago (just how long does it take to update a road). We have been using the new one built just north of the 192 on the US27

As Rob has said the I4/192 juction is quite bad, with diversions.

There are also roadworks on stretches of the 17/92

The roadworks at Orange Lake weren't much of a problem last month.

The biggest problem for us was the I4. The I4/192 was backed up and also joining the I4 from the US27 was sometimes at a standstill. A couple of times we were heading for the I4 to get to Universal, saw the traffic and switched to the 192 to join the I4 further up.
