I know Florida weather can be unpredictable but I keep thinking about the heat. The last time I was in WDW was in July, 15 years ago. It was hot so hot we left MGM becasue our heads were frying. I still remember that feeling. Please reassure me that even if it's warm in November it won't be like a summertime heat. Do people still bring fans and misters in November? Im a huge heat wimp, all summer I don't leave the house without a frozen water bottle so I need to prepare.

We were last at WDW Nov. 8 - 17 2002, our only Nov. trip. We ran into record breaking heat, 88 degrees on Sat. and Sun. I usually tolerate the heat well, taking 5 mile runs on our Myrtle Beach vacation every June, but by Nov. I was gearing up for a PA. winter and we were sent packing from MK on the first Sun. there. We spent the afternoon at the Dolphin pool, the first time we ever used a pool in 6 trips down. The rest of the week was pleasantly in the 70's and rain on our last day made it actually cool, but without requiring long pants. The record high temps sure felt like the dog days of summer to us, but they were unusual, and I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

We have been to Disney the last two Novembers. Early Nov. We did not think that heat was bad.

Ican't remember the exact temps, but we were fine.

It is HOT anytime in WDW! Except maybe Jan and Feb.:o

Well I know it CAN be cold February but we have days of 85+ over the last fdew years!

We went the very end of nov. begining of dec. 2001, and I thought the temp. was fine. Especially since the temp when we were going to the airport for our flight down, was 4 degrees.
PS. I didn't bring shorts :( and wished I had.

You really won't know until your trip is closer. One December we went, it was HOT!!! We packed jeans and light jackets and were miserable. Then the next year it was freezing and we had packed shorts!!! Both times were the first week in Dec. Just check the forecast before you go. Even if it is warm it will be no where near July heat.

Disnee Dad Says......................................

All our trips have been in the fall.

The temps. tend to be in the 80's, maybe 90 a couple times.

November is great, except for the time I drove through a hurricane! Cars on the side of the road as I barrelled along!!

Hey, everyone else pulled over, so I had a free road!

The really weird part was we went from storms to dry pavement in less than five minutes!

We visited WDW in Nov 2001 and it was much hotter and more humid than usual for that time of year. Most days were very sunny :smooth: but warmer than we expected - high 80's to low 90's on most days. Obviously it wasn't too bad for our liking, because we're going back this November! :p

BUT I'll take sunny and hot over rain anyday!

My favorite time of year to go is the week before the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 15 - 22 this year). I've gone several times at this time of year and I think it is wonderful. This is my first choice for time of year to go. The temperatures in the morning and late evening are a little chilly but during the day I was extremely comfortable in shorts and t-shirt. What I usually do is wear shorts and t-shirt with a light jacket to the parks in the morning. When it starts to get warmer (10 am or so and sometimes as soon as I walk into the park), I put the jacket in a locker. I then retrieve the jacket when it gets cooler in the evening and I'm set until the parks close. I wear shorts all day and into the evening.

November historically has very little rain and the temperatures are very nice. Typical lows of the low 60s and highs in the upper 70s. November prior to Thanksgiving is also a low attendance time so the parks won't be too crowded.

We went the first week of December in 2001 (to see the Christmas decorations). The weather was very similar and I operated the same as I do in November. It was maybe 3-4 degrees cooler.

Here's a tip - when riding any boat transportation in the evening, choose seats inside the boat. The wind of a traveling boat in the evening is very cold.

You will not roast. You will not sweat much if at all. I don't remember sweating at all walking from attraction to attraction. You will have a wonderful time. You will be great during the day and maybe a little chilly in the mornings and evenings. Taking a light jacket is the key (at least it is for me).

Enjoy!
