Rmors and speculation on Pirates 3 storyline

Don't read if you don't like spoilers! And much of this discussion will be guesswork anyway.



Seems like the theming will be -- Who Really are the Bad Guys? Good and Evil is blurred, rather than Black and White.
The trading company is infused with the British Navy (corporate/government conglomerate) and will stop at nothing to gain world trading power. bahwahahahahaha
We have already seen all good Elizabeth with do what is necessary, even if it is wrong, to save others. (Kissing and handcuffing Jack to the mast.)

Will's motive for traveling to world's end is to rescue his father, and thus fulfilling his vow.
Elizabeth's motive, besides the thrills she is use to now, is finding what her heart's desire really is.

I also have read this (unconfirmed rumor):
Tia Dalma is the goddess Claypso. Davy Jones fell in love with her. When she betrayed him, he buried his heart.

She lives above water, not on land. I assumed before this was due to the Kracken. But is there another deeper reason we will find out? So Davy Jones cannot even visit her?

The battle in P3 expands and includes Chinese pirates.

And Jack said in the P2 as captain he can perform wedding ceremonies. Will it be he (acting as minister) who marries Will and Elizabeth? On the other hand Will may be a captain, and could do the same for Elizabeth and Jack. But I don't see that happening.
By Will becoming a true captain and battling/winning evil, he will prove himself to be worthy to Elizabeth's father.

I also read this --
During the voyage in P3, Will is captain of the ship and Barbossa is navigator. And they get lost on purpose.
Gibbs and Barbossa have an argument over where they should go. There's a really big "waterfall". They turn the ship over on purpose.

So -- the waterfall entrance effect in the newly revamped PotC WDW ride has a reason...... The waterfall is the way to World's End. Just my guess, of course.

Now who did Tia Dalma betray herself to against Davy Jones? Capt Jack? Others have surmised Capt Jack's father. (Which may be why Keith Richards appears as his father in this sequel.)
Jack is their off spring, and why the cannibals thought he was a God.
And Jack seemed very annoyed that Tia Dalma was so interested in Jack, but not him as she once was. Ex-lovers, or just that Tia can see who is special?

I think Will ends up stabbing the heart in the end, proving himself, and avenging and saving his father.

And I thought it interesting Jack was given 13 years as a Capt. 13 is an odd number, literally. Unlucky 13? Supernatural undercurrent. (no pun intended)

The thing about the reason he was considered a god is probably wrong. If you had stayed to watch THE END, you would have seen the dog also become a god. So I doubt that it was because his mom was a goddess.

That would be a cute play on words! Lots of symbolism there!

Not long ago Disney released a Limited Edition Piece of History pin that featured encased short strands from a recently refur-b PotC dog.
The pin was of a seated pirate singing and playing a musical instrument while a dog howled beside him.
I thought the pin should have been of a more obviously drunken pirate. Then it could be called a Hair of the Dog pin.

did anybody noticed the two heart shaped medallions????? The second one was Davi jones music box. And the first one apeared much much before on the movie. Where was it????

dis anybody noticed to who jack´s compass pointed when it was in Elizabeth hands???? one time is on the Black Pearl and the second one was in Isla de Cruces ( where the dead mans chest was burried ). The compass pointed to..... ( im not going to tell until I see if anybody noticed so I dont spoil to everyone )

So the two questions are:

1. Where was the first hear shapped medallion???

2. To who pointed Jacks compass when it was on Elizabeth hands???

The heart shaped lockets/medallions were in Davy Jones and Tia Dalma possession.
I DID wonder the significance of the music that played from the locket of Davy Jones. When Will stole they key, they locket popped open, played music and stopped.
I wonder about the tune and why the music stopped. That I will guess will be answered in P3. Was the music just to add drama to see if Davy Jones woke and caught Will? Or was there another significance?
And of course Jack's compass did sometimes point to Jack when Elizabeth was holding it.
The latch on the chest had a heart shaped pattern to, I think.
I also wondered where all the love letters in the chest went. The chest was full of letters when it was first opened. And I think it was empty by the time Davy Jones took possession.

The lettlers where in the chest where the dead mans chest was. And that first and big chest was left on the island I belive.

Yes the two medallions one was at tia dalmas table when jack stole a ring from her, and the other one was davi jones music box. In my conlcusion Tia dalma is davi jones secret love, and thats why I belive she kept that jar of dirt that imho will be relevant to the next movie.

And yes the compass pointed to jack when Elizabeth was using it, I think that it would significate one of two things: Elizabeth has a secret crush on Jack or she has a secret crush on Pirates lifestyle represented by jack.

I cant wait to see what happens on POTC 3: The worlds end.!!!!!!
