Hello!

I just watched a tour of the Riviera, it looks gorgeous but huge!!!

I see that there are only 2 pools, seems like there are A LOT of rooms for only 2 pools.

For those of you who have stayed there are the common areas crowded? Pools, food?

Thanks!

I wouldn't say Riviera is huge. I think its a good size. Saratoga Springs and Old Key West are Huge. It is very very nice! We got to check it out in December. I've heard Primo Piatto is great and the Character meal at Topolinos looks really fun! The Skyliner is a game changer honestly.

You mean the "high in the sky" porta potty?
Nope lol I mean the Skyliner that takes you from Epcot to Riviera in 7 minutes or from Riviera to Hollywood Studios in 12 minutes lol. Skyboxes.

On that subject, I wonder what other names Disney came up with when naming the skyliner? lol

Thank you for your input!! Still curious to see how busy the pools and food areas can get

When we were there the pools weren't busy at all. Someone said they did a calculation that the Sq. Ft. per guest is equal to other resorts. I think the Pools are bigger than they look. I've heard Primo Piatto can be busy but when we were there it was the first 2 weeks it was opened.

I feel the quick service area could’ve been larger. Luckily it was nice outside, and we took our food there as there was no room inside. The grounds are truly beautiful. The restaurant upstairs is nice, however if you are near the outside door it’s very unfortunate, as people keep walking by to access the outside area (not currently restricted to only dining guests) and it’s quite cold if the weather outside is cool. Open/shut, oh wait let’s hold the door open for family memebers who are slowly coming after gawking at people, food and the restaurant decor. It’s too bad they didn’t think that aspect through more carefully. For the price of the dinner, I really didn’t want to keep my coat on the entire meal.

I agree Primo Piatto could be larger. Its about the same size as Gasperilla Grill and Contempo Cafe, and bigger than Captain Cooks I think but Both of those resorts have regular table service restaurants also and not just a Signature and Quick Service so I think PP should have been at least a third larger. Maybe they will add a pool bar one day, the resort could use 1 or 2 more amenities.
