Riviera resale for Riviera direct owners.

Hi all,

I’m pretty’s sure I know the answer to this but if you purchased a contract direct through Disney at Riviera. Then subsequently purchased Riviera via the resale market would the limitations still apply? Being as you are already a direct owner with no restrictions.

I’m assuming that the resale contract points would be restricted but just wondering if anybody can confirm?

Yes it would be restricted. Only direct Riviera point from Disney would be unrestricted, and a non gratuitous transfer to a family member.

The restrictions will apply to the resale points even if you already own direct points on another contract. It’s written into the POS for RIV.
