Riverside room quality

It's been a while since we have stayed at POR. Always trying new resorts but this year its POR. I was wondering how the rooms are, we stayed at ASM one night for MNSSHP an the rooms were in desperate need of new carpets and general update. I have a thing about clean floors almost obsessive.

We just returned from POR this past Monday. The room quality was fine. The resort was beautiful and peaceful. All the rooms at POR were just renovated in the past year.

POR just completed a major room renovation last year. I don't think you need worry about run down or worn out rooms.

Like pp said the rooms were just refurbished last year so they should be in good shape now.

We stayed in POFQ before their refurbishment and I hear you on the floors. While the carpet didn't look terrible the grout in the bathroom floors and even the caulking in the bathtub was so old and dirty it skeeved me out. I was surprised at how motel quality the room felt being a $200 a night room.

Just back from POR 10 days ago. We stayed in AB and the room was fresh and clean.....couldn't find any wear & tear since the refurb last year. I even had to pull out the fold down "murphy" bed away from the wall to retrieve some ear rings and it was clean back there where no one ever cleans!
