Riverside ressie help please?

My friends have decided to stay at Riverside.. they are booking 2 rms. and asking for connecting...Parents and 2 adult kids....I have told them about the codes that may come out....but they are flying in Thanksgiving Day and staying for 5 nights....If they book using AAA can they still change to a code if one comes out??? I have told them about Mousesavers also and they have signed up for the news letter. ALso mentioned about getting passes thur Ticketmania as i have done........also whats the ph. no for WDTC? Oh and please if they would book on line isnt there a less favorable concellation policy....sorry we are DVC and I am forgetting the rules about booking hotels....THANK YOU ALL

I can only answer some of your questions.

Yes, if they book AAA, they can then use a code. I just did this.

Do not book online because yes, the cancellation policy is like 45 days out. Have them call and make sure they get 'room only'. Sometimes they throw in something 'extra' and call it a package, where the cancellation policy is different. With room only, they will make one night deposit with the rest due when they check in. Plus they can always change up to a package deal but you can't go from package to room only.

Oh, and they should call early early early for dinner reservation Thanksgiving day, if they will be there in time. Thanksgiving books up very quickly.

Riverside is a great place, one of my favorites.

Thanks, thats just what i thought when they wanted to book on line.....will call them this am....Someday we will stay at Riverside, i think its looks beautiful......

Just make sure they specify "room only" for their ressie if they want the 5days prior cancelation policy. I've heard of people using WDTC vs. CRO and not realizing they booked a package and ended up with the 45day cancellation policy

Suppossedly They have both merged and it's all one system now but I'd just double check to be safe before hanging up when booking. And yes, you can definetly call back and have a dicsount code applied if and when it becomes available.
