I just upgraded from Pop Century to Port Orleans Riverside for our upcoming trip. I am very excited to have gotten to upgrade, but I am wondering what the food court is like at Riverside. Last year when we were at Pop the food court was great. It was busy in the morning, but all the CM's worked very fast and it was never a problem. There also seemed to be a lot of selection. We will pretty much eat breakfast there every morning and I am just wondering if it is as good as Pop. Also, I assume they have the refillable mugs too, does anyone have a picture? Thanks for any help!

I found that the food court was a little confusing because there were different stations depending on what you want, it was also confusing because we were using meal vouchers. Also, the lines tend to be a little slow, but just get there early. Don't worry about this too much, it is a great hotel, and it is nice because it isn't very loud and crowded. They do have refillable mugs, but I don't have a picture. You could probably just google it. Oh, and the food is really good. Have a great vacation!

We have done both Pop Century & POFQ [POR this April!!! :cool1: ] & I think they're pretty much equal. A lot of the food is standard with the names slightly different.

My husband got into the lines; I usually just got a piece of fruit & some coffee.

Have fun!

The foodcourt at the POR is not as big as the one at POP, and can be crowded during busier times, just like any food court.
I thought that the food was very good.

I loved the food court at POR. The omelet station for breakfast is great :banana The brownie from the bakery is the best :cheer2:
The CMs were great and helpful with dp questions :sunny: I loved it. The only resort food courts I can compare it to are ASMU and CR. POR is my favorite so far :bounce:

DH and I stayed at POR in 11/2003 and loved the food court. We often came back there for lunch and then relaxed a bit before going back to the parks. They have a great grill station with burgers, hot dogs, and chicken sandwhiches.

It's a decent food court and like a PP said not as large as Pop. They have a large variety but it is your standard cafeteria fare (as in taste).

I had a burger and fries and had not problems with it. DH had the chicken parm and thought it tasted like they dumped a can of tomato paste on the chicken.

They also have a variety of drinks, snacks, etc like the other food courts.
