how much before the posted show time does the pre show start?

from what I can remember, about 15 mins or so. I would be in my seat half hour before showtime, to be safe.

What exactly is the pre show?

Shamans pass thru the audience carrying totems of various kinds. Sort of like to set the mood for the show to come.

I'm not sure how long before the actual show starts...but keep an eye on the trees surrounding the water. You'll see "fireflies" and then shadows of animals walking past. It's very subtle, but quite pretty!!!

We were there on Sunday and the preshow started 15 min prior to actual showtime.
