Rivers of Light Dining Package Lookout Thread - NOW ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS

I just tried to book via WDW-DINE, and they could not see availability either. She said their fireworks schedule had not yet been updated to reflect ROL shows for October, but it should happen soon. The dining package might be dependent upon that.

Thanks for posting this, that is good information. I also tried unsuccessfully to book the package but kept getting the message that nothing was available.

My guess and it's just a guess is that it will be open On the 20 th. I heard 2018 dates open then so in complete Disney fashion they will probably release everything at once and then the system will crash.

I was so excited to see October open (after checking 3 times a day or more since April!) then crushed to see no availability! Relieved that everyone seems to be getting that message as well. Wish Disney would just make it bookable already!

Since they haven't changed October AK park hours from 7:00 PM yet and they haven't scheduled ROL times yet, they probably have not opened up times for the ROL dining package reservations. Hopefully we won't have to wait long.

Unfortunately starting in September, ROL is only on select nights. This seems to be continuing in October.

So Today I did my daily ROL check and when I hit the calendar to go to October it was all in Spanish lol. Good thing I remember my months.

We did the ROL early dinner at Tusker House back in May. It was very good, but Mickey passed us by . It was also ridiculously expensive. It was nearly $200 with tax and tip for 3 buffets and a glass of beer. We don't pay that much for California Grill! The ROL seating was nice and I enjoyed the show. I won't do it again unless I'm on the DDP.

Amen! We having been checking everyday and were so excited when we saw October open today...only be be smacked back down. Just going to keep checking each day! Good luck getting your reservations!

I think this happened last time ROL packages were released..breakfast times weren't showing up initially but eventually were loaded in the system. Just keep trying!
